| Southern Algeria offers the adventurous traveller some of the Sahara's most
unusual and varied landscapes, ranging from expanses of sandy dunes, forests of
rock pinnacles, the Hoggar mountains that reach altitudes of almost 3000m and
can be snow covered in winter, oasis and gheltas rich in plant and animal life
and colourful, friendly Tuareg nomads. Our trips are based in Tamanrasset and
Djanet.
